This week on our Chef’s blog, we’re sharing a super helpful article by parental advice blogger, Annabel Karmel, on her ‘Top 10 Tips for Coping with a Fussy Eater’.
As parents, we want the very best for our kids so of course, we try to feed them meals that are packed full of vitamins, nutritious ingredients and will nourish their growing bodies (like KidsHQ SuperMeals, for example 😉) . Unfortunately, sometimes our kids aren’t on the same page.
Feeding times are often challenging and, as Annabel says, “it’s easy to get locked in a battle of wills”. In this article, Annabel discusses how parent’s behaviour is key when it comes to kerbing fussy eating. When you’re frustrated, it’s important not to show it and instead, offer lots of praise when they eat well. She also suggests getting the kids involved in the kitchen or starting a rewards scheme like a sticker chart.
